Screening facilities
MT (Main Theatre)
The “daily screening” is a unique part of student life at the Institute. A variety of classics and contemporary national and international films are screened every evening from Monday to Friday at the FTII Main Theatre of SRFTI. The ‘Main theatre’ commonly known as ‘MT’ is equipped with 372 seats, 35mm film projection as well as DCP projection facility and 5.1 surround sound facility.
PT (Preview Theatre)
Preview Theatre is another screening facility cum classroom for the students. Preview theatre is equipped with 70 seats, 2k projection facility and 5.1 surround sound facility.
New CRT (Class Room Theatre)
The ‘New Classroom Theatre’ is equipped with 70 seats, 2k projection facility. It is mostly used for classes of first year film wing students and also for conducting seminars & master classes.
